I wasn't sure where to go with this so I guess I'll give /sci/ a shot. I'm working on a side-project basically about what children would do with power. Mainly, what if children were given the power to control a company or governing body that has a huge impact on the world.

Are there any books or papers I can/should read? I can come to my own conclusion that some of said kids would probably be too afraid to do anything, but I really want to go in depth with this.

It would depend largely on what age the child and what "type" of child it was

Between the ages of 12 and 14, and I never gave much thought to the type of child. I was just going on generalizations, so I suppose I should look into that as well.

Children these days are taught that you should share whatever you have. They are taught that children in Africa have no money and are poor as shit with no water and a terrible life due to gangs, rapes etc etc.

Tbh, I believe most children would try to make world peace and abolish poverty by giving away huge donations to a local church, red cross and so on, simply because they have no realistic view of the world at that age.

This is true.

I went through my life with the belief that anyone with Brown skin lived in a mud hut and was starving to death.

Its not so much that i believed it, and when questioned its obvious to me that they arent all like that, but its just the intial imagine and such that i have in my head.

For example, once i met an eskimo, and i was shocked for 5 seconds to find out he wasnt wearing seal skin and hides and wearing tenis rackets on his feet, then i was like, OF COURSE NOT
