I rarely see chemistry threads here. Does /sci/ not like chemistry?

>> No.2620067

nobody in high school does

>> No.2620075

i love chemistry, but other than the homework threads there is barely anything about it we can discuss here.

just google or wiki for chemistry information, no need to ask chantards anything about chemistry when wiki etc can find the answer much faster, and with far far less trolling.

I'm a chemical engineer, so I love chem, but as was said before, all the info you need is readily available.

what can you talk about in chemistry thats interesting? the first thing that came to mind what when they disguised a He atom as a hydrogen atom and formed HeH. but that falls more into particle physics that chemistry.

I'm not all that knowledgeable about chemistry, but neuroscience is really interesting, and it ties in pretty heavily with chemistry.

Chemfag here
You are a dumbass, to understand chemistry you need to understand things like thermodynamics and quantum mechanics which al require a lot of math, as a chemist you need to know your math

He didn't actually say that chemistry doesn't require math, just that bio doesn't require math.

I had a terrible chem teacher in high school, which kind of ruined it for me forever. Happy with physics though.
