Hello /sci/.

Could anyone answer why the average society on earth is an amalgamate of hypocrites that indoctrinates themself and their people with self-delusional retard standards and then pretend we're the apex of civilization?

We claim to support equality. And create enormous income gaps.
We claim to support peace. And constantly develop new weapons.
We claim to support human rights. While millions of people globally produce out consumer goods in sweatshops that keep them in conditions that are simply put fucking awful and exploitative. Also, china is selling organs from prisoners on death row and so on.
We preach the value of virtue. And then turn around and practice self-indlugent vice.
We claim to be rational creatures, and then we buy into the worst kind of mindless enviromentalist regression.
We claim to support progress. Yet we still let a commitee of stuck up living fossils block it with some ethic commands.

The first nation to publicly denounce human rights, adopts Mengele as their national idol and starts breeding humans at an industrial scale for spare organs, slaves, unethical research and the worst kind of nationalist indoctrination will become a superpower that is unstoppable and will turn the high and hypocrite standards of the rest of the world to ashes. It would also be capable of achiving the most amazing technological feats, they would colonize the solar system and be the true sucessor of mandkind, while we would be remembered as a stagnant beurocracy governed by weak idiots.

The ironical part is that our efforts at technological development makes this project easier to do all the time, eventually someone will start it at some scale.

And you can be damn sure that I applaud their efforts.

I agree pretty strongly, but the problem is that I don't think any one human being is strong enough to pull it off.

Morality (hypocrisy implied) is kind of like a 'little ruler's helper.' It keeps the people in line without endless violence. A human ruler would get tired of killing people constantly, even if that human ruler was invulnerable.

Closet technocrats are incurably idealistic, but their ideals are just incompatible with human behavior.
