Give it to someone smart who's never taken this type of test before and they will have an IQ of 40.

However, an idiot who takes these types of tests regularly will work himself up to 140+ easily...

It's all about knowing what things to look for. Once you have that down, (number of intersections of lines, number of dots, number of corners on the shape....) you're a freaking genius.

And as for your test, I can't be sure with 24 questions seeing as how there is no measure of how difficult they were.
To try and estimate, I took the test for you and answered only 24 of the questions right, while deliberately failing the rest.
This is what I got.
It won't be very accurate due to the unknown difficulty of question that you've answered, but it won't be significantly lower as well.

I WAS taking the test, but I got to anxious and finally closed the tab 3 minutes after starting.

45 seconds is way too little time for me. I know that some of you took it and completed it with little regard to the time limit, scoring quite high and all, but I'm not all for being constrained to time.

The few answers I did get in where barely given withing seconds of being told I took too long, and me having myself deviate most of my concentration on how much time I have left to answer instead of actually working on finding the correct answer...

I've taken a similar test before, based upon completing sequences just like this one. And in both I scored quite high, but only because these were written tests which had a global time limit, instead of individual limits like this test had.

Hell, I've also taken tests where each question had time limit, but at least those gave you 2 minutes to answer.

Maybe I whine to much, but I prefer to think slow and calmly, reaching a correct answer I'm convinced with rather than answering randomly yet quickly and probably failing most of the time.
