If Gravitomagnetism is just the analogical sums between the two (gravity & electromagnetism) then why is it about? is there any use for knowing these equations?

Also, what does the findings of pseudo-monopole (spin-ice) particles do for gravitomagnetism?

Also gravi-photon, oddest hypothetical particle?

>> No.2585606

Um.. Are we talking about real science here or theroetical crap you found by reading random wikipedia articles? Is this another idiot thing like tachyons?

>> No.2585620

>>2585606
The graviphoton is random shit i know fuck all about by reading one wiki article, but gravitomagnetism is pretty established bro.

>> No.2585654

are you using Gravitomagnetism to mean the real force as predicted by general relativity (and ignored by Einstein because its effect is so small that we can even now barely measure it) or some other force (hint: thats made up) related to the gravi-photon?

Coolest of stories, bro.

Come back when you've found a negative-mass object.

>> No.2585667

>>2585654
Sorry i shouldn't have mentioned graviphoton, it has nothing to do with GEM.

I read this:
>arxiv.org/pdf/gr-qc/0311030
And it just seems to be equations without any physical repercussion or applied meaning.

Nope.

We've never observed negative mass or magnetic monopoles. This gravitomagnetism bullshit is just crackpottery.

>> No.2585687

>gravitophoton
You're honestly arguing about a speculated supersymmetric partner to a particle that ALSO has never been observed?

could gravity just be the weight of air on top of us? on the moon theres not a whole lot of moulcules floating in the space but there is still something there causing the slight bit of gravity

what does negative mass or magnetic monopoles have to do with Gravitomagnetism?

ITT: people read what they want to here and don't into anything, I mad.

>>2585687
Nope, OP just stated that he thought it was an odd particle.

>>2585675
Apart from:
>http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/09/090903163725.htm
They haven't, but what's far more important is NEITHER HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH GRAVITOMAGNETISM!

OP:
>>2585594
Gravito-mono-magnetism isn't theorised on, the equations are just the basis for later experimenting. Seens gravitons aren't found, the theory is on one leg.
If i remember correctly gravity effects photons and therefor in the correct conditions gravitomagnetism would be a teamworking force.

Apologies, I had this in mind.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravitomagnetism#Fringe_physics

Also, OP brought up pseudo-monopoles in spin ice, so I thought he was edging into the one of the pseudoscience fringes.

>> No.2585747

You're getting closer the truth, OP. All physical phenomena are a reflection of electromagnetism.
