"Whenever I walk through the School of Physics & Astronomy I am reminded of Aspergers Syndrome" - Glasgow University Aerospace Engineering Professor

Face it, physicists are the losers or science whereas engineers are the jocks. Kiss our asses, geeks.

Pic related: my discipline made that.

Physicists- Sentient Fat waddling through life never knowing the caress of a woman
Engineers- Take thirty two cocks before lunch, also, spend their entire career designing a high speed valve for use on a laser design that was later canceled by the military
Biologists- Get laid and then study cells and shit, fuck yeah.

Biologists are lucky scientists bc it's the only science field where there are chicks aplenty. Then again the prescence of chicks kinda lowers the quality of the field.

>Pic related: my discipline made that.

That was my primary issue when I was trying to decide whether I wanted to go into physics or engineering. With physics I'd be able to have a better understanding of the universe but I wouldn't be designing new shit like the space shuttle.

I eventually chose business so I can employ both of them. And yes, I'm fully prepared for the greentext shitstorm that will arise from my choice, but you need to learn to fight within the system.

It didn't. It was an impressive application of already well understood technology and concepts that is little more than a vessel to haul the experiments of real scientists [biologists, physicists and chemists] into space. Face it, few engineers do science or even seem to understand what it is.

NOPE. Well understood physics? Well understood science? Yes. Definitely. But not in any way well understood technology. When the Shuttle was designed it was a completely unproven concept, and throughout its life it's always been an experimental air and spacecraft that has never left the prototyping stages.

Also, the majority of astronauts are engineers. Of the 12 people who walked on the moon, 11 were engineers, and 1 was a geologist (which is nearly engineering, if we're honest).

physics creations/discoveries: nukes, black holes, tesla coil, ac/dc, rail gun, magnetics, magnetic accelerators, electromagnetism, lasers, microwaves, x rays, gamma rays, radio, tv, fiber optics, the internet, integrated circuit, vacume tube, quantum mechanics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, kinematics, the electron, computers, the web, and the list goes on.

Engineering makes: airplanes, cars, jets, spaceships... o wait all of the things engineers make involve physics... and most are used as vessels for other greater sciences

as for the aspergers thing... the only reason we seem so lame is because we are actually calculating the expansion of the universe based on its current expansion rate or some other thing involving physics. so we are guilty of seemly having aspergers syndrome while we multi task...
