I'm a fan of using very fine point rollerballs for math, and drafting mechanical pencils on legal pads.

What gear do you guys rock?

I used to use nothing but Pentel RSVP pens (cheap mainly, and fit my hand well) but my current teacher only accepts math in pencil (?!?!) so I use a cheap bic mechanical now. I should get one with narrower lead though, mine uses 0.9 which makes writing small a pain.

Usually I take the green and the red,
But sometimes blue ones appear, from a friend or lying around.

OP here, you guys should check out the Zebra grafix mechanical pencils and the pentel sharplet a2 pencils, thank me later :)

Also get a pack of Pentel Foam erasers, they clump and its fucking amazing.

Also the guy who recommended the sharpie pens, you on some good shit right there!

I prefer a 0.3mm mechanical pencil. I write quite small, so if I use 0.5mm og 0.7mm it's really hard to read since it just blobls of lead on a paper.

Mechanical pencil, but most things unfortunately require a pen, therefore I mostly use biros.

I never really got on with pens, I change what I've written too much and my writing looks far worse in general.

I did use a liquid ink pen for a while but it was terrible for organic chemistry and thus switched back to biro.

Choice of writing implement is a is a big deal for me and I'm yet to find the best one.

I can find them in most places and they're cash as fuck. If they're not available, I get the cheaper ones without the padding.

The only reason I ever need to buy more is because I lose them

>> No.2566533

0.7 mm lead mechanical pencils. I prefer pencils with extendable erasers that can also be bought separately, but currently I bought a partially biodegradable mechanical pencil just for kicks. It came with additional erasers but it isn't extendable.

I've got one lying around as well, but I think it's a bit too expensive to be stuffed into my backpack with all the other things I need.
