Use fucking WolframAlpha jesus fucking christ. This should be stickied or something.

I did, and it didnt accept the answer. I am looking for the method to do it.

You don't know the method to solve this? I must not be the only one confused by this.

product rule, product rule everywhere

also web assign allows you to answer the problem until you get it right so just ask your classmates or someone for the answer

>>2563456

just distribute and solve. it's just a polynomial.

13 you really should have gotten. quotient rule, son.

If it's past due now, you should be able to view the answers to at least know what you're aiming for. Sometimes it's just a format problem. You can have the right answer, but it's not in the very specific form that WebAssign wishes it to be, so it marks you wrong.

>also web assign allows you to answer the problem until you get it right
Unless the professor sets a maximum limit, which any of mine that have used WebAssign have done.

>> No.2563528

eh, i actually think webassign is pretty forgiving on format.

also FYI op, if you're ever stuck, click Practice Another Version. they'll give you a slightly different version of the problem that you'll have unlimited submissions on. if things get dire, you can even click "show solution" after you submit a practice answer, and webassign will straight up give you a .pdf file of the solution.

Yeah, I can only try 2 times.

And the homowork disapears after the due time lol, so I am just fucked.

Will go to office hours on Monday I guess.

I've had trouble with the formatting in the past. In my first semester of calc the formatting was usually relaxed enough that as long as it wasn't in some strange form WebAssign would accept it. But in physics, I had a question marked wrong because I put [(2d)/g] rather than [2(d/g)].

>>2563534
There's no link to "Past Assignments" under the "My Assignments" block?
And shit, only 2 tries? That's just cruel.

lol wow. fuck my life.

no link, it completely dissapeared

>> No.2563591

>Yeah, I can only try 2 times

this doesn't seem fair since if the homework were to be assigned from the book you'd be able to check your answers and retry as many times as you need before the homework was due. I think you proffesor is trolling pretty hard with that limit.

use at your own risk, i'm tired as shit and caught myself putting in 2 typos, could be more i didn't catch, and i've been up for almost the past 3 days straight
