I'm not into the pseudosciences, but this doesn't seem to make any obvious sense.

Even if they were arguing an NLP or biological angle, both happiness and pain are emotions so wouldn't be affected by the hemispherical side. Nor is either emotion significantly more associated with other brain functions (e.g. memory recall).

There has been a studies about people who have their right and left side of the brain separated. One side of brain still controls one hand and other controls other hand and so on.

Some extremely amusing things happened when they were blindfolded and given a task to feel some object and describe it when they felt it with either left or right hand.
