Scientists have nothing to do with the shit that tends to ruin the world. Perhaps more scientists should stop working for the powers that be and start working against them instead, but there isn't really any sort of avenue to do that right now. there are countries that hoard energy and resources (america is a big one) and have kept back so many other promising countries for the sake of tsupplying themselves with the most and the best
the best way to solve this problem though is to change society's mood towards charity from something only out of luxury to something out of necessity, but this is near impossible and I don't feel it will ever happen. not on earth at least.
