For those who care, a chess game played between Einstein and Oppenheimer.

Einstein kicked his ass. It did not seem like a very good game, but that's only coming from an amateur.

cool.

I'm not very good either, but even I can tell that Oppenheimer sucks hard. From the comments it seems that Einstein was pretty crafty, and his game was solid.

Well, that was disappointing.

Openheimer sucks Einstein worked him

That was a good trick Einstein did to get the rook, but other than that... It seems like they usually weren't reading any more than a couple of moves ahead.

Another retarded thing Einstein did was attack the knight with the light square bishop. It's a good move when it pins the knight to the king, but otherwise unless you want to trade, you are just wasting your moves while your opponent develops pawns. Also at the end of his bishop fleeing for his life, it was in a fairly worthless position not really doing anything.

why did einstein allow all that pawn development

Not that impressed, but then again, why should I be? Advanced chess is much more about learned technique and tactics and when they're focusing on much more important things, it would make sense they didn't play chess that much. They both played like a couple of reasonable, intelligent people. It was about as cool as watching Einstein and Oppenheimer play a game of tennis together or something.
