Can you guys please explain something to me?
I've recently been reading upon alien cover ups, aliens all around us etc... but what logical reasons do governments have from hiding this information to us? Unless they're doing something that we as people would be totally against? what else could it be.

tl:dr I dont believe in alien cover ups can't see why they would exist, why do some people believe?

if "aliens" had somehow managed to find a way to travel near light speed (or bent space-time) to reach and contact us, there's no way any human fucking government could cover that up.
