>When I hear the term Kindle I think not of imaginations fired but of crematoria lit. And when I hear the term "hi-tech" I think not of helpful androids efficiently performing household chores or light-speed rockets gliding seamlessly through space but of the fact that between 1933-45, modern technology was used to perform in ever more efficient ways the mass murder of six million of my people.

I think of helpful androids efficiently killing jews, or light -speed rockets full of jews gliding seamlessly into the sun. The Kindle automatically renders any book by a jewish author into appropriately patriotic segments of Mein Kampf. Technology exists for the glory of the white race.

No wait, what?

Can't say I entirely disagree with this.

Amazon already pulled a stunt where they removed George Orwell's 1984 from people's Kindle's. Built-in DRM that ensures I don't actually own the books I buy? No thanks.

But this problem isn't related to technology so much as it is greedy and controlling publishers. The simple solution is to purchase an open ebook reader that someone else does not have control over.
