hey /sci/,

If for some reason all our material possessions would disappear, for like say the entire humanity would be teleported to another earth. If we would know this day would come, how would we prepare for it? What would we study before the day would come and how would we rebuild our society and our knowledge?

(wrapping materials on to yourself or putting them inside your body does not count, you will have to do it with the body you have right now without any possessions)

Discuss, I am hoping to see different forms of learning or any new forms of thinking, Surprise me /sci/

so without any materials we can take with us we would still be nothing, how can we say that we are getting smarter if in fact we ourselves would be nothing without the materials we have constructed. Or would our problem solving skills have been improved in comparison with our far ancestors?

Hmm, a phenomenon that has the power to teleport the entire human population to another planet, and is impossible to prevent.

A lot of people would assume it was the work of a God and chaos would ensue.

A lot of people would be unable to accept the inevitable and try to have as much fun before the event, resulting in anarchy.

The few intelligent people would be too overwhelmed and underfunded to actually do anything about it.

Upon being teleported to the new planet, humanity would lose a large chunk of its population.

Eventually I think society would be rebuilt, albeit with a shitload of progress lost and even more religious crap than before.
