Write a program and see what happens.
Inb4 syntax.

>> No.2416882

hey OP, theres the word "paradox" in your picture
that might help you understand it

also, youre a troll and this is no /sci/ related

>> No.2416887

well you see his nose will grow because he's a real boy now and real boys grow

>> No.2416892

wouldn't work. Pinocchio’s nose grows when he LIES not when he say something that is not true. So all that matters is what he thinks will happen not what actually happens. So either way he'll be surprised but that's all.

if he honestly believes that his nose will grow then it's not a lie even if his noes doesn't grow. just a false statement.
also he said "now" so even if he is intentionally lying it could grow immediately after he uttered the phrase without being paradoxical

>> No.2417032

There is not enough [conditionals] to determine if this is a paradox or not.

"My nose will grow [if I tell a lie]"
"My nose will not grow [if I tell the truth]"

Simply stating "My nose will grow" is neither a lie nor a truth.

However, the picture implies
>implies
the statement to mean "My nose will grow [right now, as it is stated]"

The [conditionals] have changed meaning, and results in a conditional paradox.

Similiar to:
"The below sentence is false."
"The above sentence is true."
