Ask a bored Aerospace Engineering grad student anything.

Pic unrelated but still awesome

How many foreign students?

Where did you get your degree?

I'm actually wanting to go into Aerospace. Well. Aeronautical, but I can't really find a program for that.
I want to end up in propulsion systems for spacecraft. >.<

What field are you specialized in? o.O

lol every one but me.

Glasgow University, Scotland

I'm at the same institution doing my grad work.

Space propulsion systems is a pretty small field to get in to - much more work out there if you stick to terrestrial aircraft.

I'm specialised in aircraft flight dynamics - specifically stability, although I do dabble in some space stuff now and again.

Any idea where you're going to get a job?

MOST EXCELLENT.

Aerospace Engineers are pretty useful in a variety of industries but I am mainly interested in military aircraft and the motorsport industry. A bit contrasting but so are my passions! As you'd expect from my background, my understanding of aerodynamics and fluid mechanics in general are pretty solid so basically anywhere it's relevant I can get a job...although the market is still shit at the moment. Hopefully it'll change before I'm done.
