The ingredients are good, but the most important reason why it tastes so good is because of advertising. When you drink Coca-cola you are drinking 20th century history, you are drinking your ancestors and their legacy, you are drinking side by side with Santa Claus in his most kind incarnation, you are drinking what's real, what's good, what is there to enjoy, you are drinking the live and warm color of the red and the mistery of black color of the drink, you are drinking sin, you are drinking with the devil, you are stimulating your tongue with the bubbles, you are drinking capitalism, you are drinking typography, you are drinking nostalgia, you are young and old, you are fresh and ancient, you are drinking Coca-cola.

Im addicted to it myself and the only thing I could come up as an answer how this is even possible is cocaine, though silly it may sound. Coke is made using coca syrup (or whatever its technically called) that contains psychoactive and addictive substance. Since cocaine is banned in most countries, it's supposed to be refined and all of this substance is to be removed from the syrup, but still, some reaaaaaaally small amounts of it may still be in it. So, since we drink coke almost every day and lots of it, you may somehow get addicted to sort-of-cocaine. I havent tried real stuff yet, though Im certain Id be loving it :)
also im not a chemfag, its been years since ive done anything related to it, so sorry for horribly bad description of my thoughts
