Actually, according to Christian orthodoxy, God is eternal and died on a cross in about 28-33 C.E. And yet a Christian will tell you that this is not a contradiction, but an illustration of the nature of God's work towards creation; saving, sacrificing, loving. The problem is that you're engaging a system of images, metaphors, and paradoxes with mathematical logic. But logic is a way of evaluating consistent factual claims and arguments, not of evaluating constructions of reality.
