Just wanne probe here... solipsism

I can`t believe people who reject this as a possibility actually exist ! !

Have you guys ever wondered the relations between your innerself(your entity of thought) and the world around you are?

If not please stop calling yourself a sceptic.
There are more possibilities then the mind being just some bunch of chemical and neural reactions.

Solipsism implies there is, by defenition NO divine entity or "god" in the external world.
(parhaps beyond one's own mind, that`s still considered a possibility.)

Believing there is NO divine entity in the external world requires just as much assumptions as believing there IS a divine entity.

Note that being materialist is just as reasonable as being solipsist, and being solipsist is just as reasonalbe as being theist.

Solipsism, like God, can be neither proven nor disproven. The correct approach is shrug and move on, not waste the rest of your life lost in the text.

You mean the belief that our thoughts affect the "external" world?

I believe it. Thoughts are energy. Different patterns of thinking would create different patterns of energy thereby affecting the world in varying ways, although on such a minuscule level.

I believe in magick, too--because everything is magick.

im already aware that any worldview build up with words is doomed to fail.

actually thats the point where i`m trying to get at with these retarded atheists and nihilists that always swarm around here.

No, that's Dualism. Idealists don't believe in the outer world. Tho how that differs from solipsism I'm not sure.

I'm both an atheist and a nihilist (is it possible to be a religious nihilist?), and I am aware of this also. How could one be a nihilist while believing in the truth of ideology?

Actually the first thing descartes did after saying he could only be sure his own mind existed, was correct what he said and say he was also sure that an omnipotent being exists, as his mind has a concept of perfection, and if that perfection does not exist he, being the only thing in the universe, could not concieve it

>>2349306

Descartes was a tool. His famous proof didn't prove that he existed, but only that thinking exists. No wonder he'd go on to be so completely wrong about everything else.

How could one be a nihilist while believing in the truth of ideology?
Maybe you could make a distinction between "knowledge about ultimate reality" and "knowledge about our logical reality" at some point. as i did.

Appearance is where illogical absurdity ends and where the manifest of reason begins.

You can describe yourself as the appearance of a human, no matter what ultimate reality we live in. Even if you`re just a part of a multi-dimensional tree, a matrix-like environment(verry unlikely), or the a creation of god the statement that you are the appearance of a human still stands ground.
The same goes for flowers, rocks and "the known universe".
Any other defenition of yourself and the world around you would fail. unless you try to include illogical absurditys or paradoxes.

Why rely on emotions? --> because according to my best knowledge i am the appearance of a human.
Who am i to deny this and act differently ??? see there is reason to it.

Anyway claiming there is NO meaning of live requires just as much assumptions as claiming the is NO god, how can you be so sure?
