The problem with them is - they are VERY difficult to keep secret.

The equipment to do this stuff is getting cheaper all the time. IBM plans on making it cost just $1000 to map a whole genome. Cloning animals is cheep enough that common people can have there pets cloned. Soon we will have cows or pigs that are genetically modified to be able to give birth to implanted human fetuses. Making human chimp hybrids requires nothing more than a microscope and a good needle and a few dozen attempts although the offspring would not be desired by me... why would you want to recreate niggers? Anyhow its getting cheaper and easer all the time sooner or later someone will do it.
