Is fire infinite?

Are we infinite?

Will this thread finish?

Yes, yes it is, now go die in one

>> No.2320451

You nerds need to stop thinking you're cool/smart, you're far from it. I asked a scientific question, I want a scientific answer.

Are humans (as they can reproduce) alike 'fire' by being potentially infinite beings?

We are limited by the Universe.

No to any of your questions

So the universe is finite then?

It is constantly expanding, but most likely finite.
The universe is /potentially/ infinite (that is, it tends to it), but it is likely not infinite (there is a difference between these concepts, try and see if you can understand it).

>> No.2320515

We consume energy to exist at a rate less than 100% efficient, so no we are not infinite. Our combustion reaction can last only as long as there is oxygen, if you want to be a faggot and argue by analogy.

I understand.
Is it 100% known that the Earth revolves around the sun, and the Sun does not revolve around the Earth -- or is there a chance that the Sun actually revolves around the Earth?

>> No.2320538

Stop using the words such as infinite without providing a clear definition.

You're trolling with that bit right?

Try and film the stars at night and see how everything moves.... or is you the one that's moving?

Is the universe the one rotating around earth or is it just the earth?!
Relatively speaking, you can describe motion as you being stationary and the rest of the objects being mobile, or you can describe it the other way around which makes a lot more sense physically.

However, if you understand the law of general relativity, you'll be able to understand the motions of the heavenly bodies. In which case, you'll already have the answer.

At the moment it's as if the Universe is expanding away from the Earth so the only 'truth' is to build space rockets, as that's also, moving away from the Earth. I don't think the universe is expanding but that's just my opinion.

What I meant was, is the Earth rotating around the Sun as the Sun rotates around the Earth (through binary friction) Sun rotates, spinning the Earth, etc.

Acording to general relativity, all mass curves spacetime (at the speed of light), so smaller objects can affect the motion of larger objects too, however larger objects will be the one generating the most curvature. Which is to say that the motion of the sun is influenced by many things, even small bodies like the planets, but mostly by the galaxy. However, for all practical (macroscopic) purposes, we can say that the earth revolves around the sun, the solar system revolves around the galaxy, and so on.

I'll always be "that Guy," so when people finally have realization, they'll remember my threads and think "Whoa!".
