actually meditation does work. less stress makes it easier to lose weight. plus deep breathing allows more oxygen which is good for overall health.

lulz, sadly true. I am neurotic basement dweller for 6 years now, living on retirement. I do meditate tho and am very fit. I would of never guessed there was a connection to fitness tho. I just meditate while doing drugs or stress from isolation.

Actually I wouldn't doubt that in some people's case, adding meditation to proper diet and adequate exercise would help them lose excess bodyfat by lowering stress levels. Some people are serious stress-monkeys, and stress hormones can really throw your metabolism out of whack and make it difficult to lose weight when you want to.
