How does /sci/ REALLY feel about science universities?

How does /sci/ REALLY feel about art colleges?

How does /sci/ REALLY feel about film school?

How does /sci/ REALLY feel about community colleges?

How does /sci/ REALLY feel about engineering schools?

How does /sci/ REALLY feel about <insert eduicational institute type here>?

Not trying to troll, just curious for the new year.

This is /sci/ , obviously everything is shit-tier except for science universities.

Yeah but only faggots go to film school, they will later make faggy films. You don't have to go to film school to make a good movie

Yeah but those who do make good films without going to a school already had some artistic background related to it like painting, photography, some film education, etc.

I see you failed film school like the rest of /tv/ and critics.

Also way to stick to a specific category, when the same can be said about art talents.

>>2280617
What? I can't be a scientist if I churn out questionably related essays that turn out was supposed to expand my knowledge in my field and give me the amount of knowledge and experience I'm expected to have once I go in? GTFO /sci/.

No, but script writers should study writing, actors should get some experience, and directors should... I don't know, get high and live in the video rental place. Everyone else involved is a business major or a wage slave.

Film college can help people enhance their filmaking ability.

People like films.

Not everyone can be a top tier mega scientist (hint: you certainly won't) so let them make their movies and write their books. Fuck, even philosophy majors are useful. I mean I personally wouldn't do it, but someone needs to flip my burgers.

>> No.2280685

Film schools, like art schools, are only good if you already have some talent or ability to comprehend and perform such an artistic talent. Same goes for a scientist. It's next to impossible to teach it to someone who can't already grasp and do it on his own so far. And if you do, sometimes you'll need help to fully flesh out and envelop it.

BAHAHAHAH

Either stop after high school and get a shitty job, go to a REAL college, or an hero, dont bother with this useless shit.

>How does /sci/ REALLY feel about science universities? Great, we need more of them

>How does /sci/ REALLY feel about art colleges?
Complete waste of time. Most of the people who graduate from them can't get any job that they couldn't without the degree

>How does /sci/ REALLY feel about film school?
Again, another waste of time. Only one in ten thousand are actually able to make a living off of art degrees.

>How does /sci/ REALLY feel about community colleges?
These are the secrets that the educational establishment doesn't want you to know about. Universities have worked hard to brainwash people into thinking that CC gives a bad education and is below them.

The truth is that as long as a CC is accredited it will offer the exact same education as any other university for a fraction of the cost.

>How does /sci/ REALLY feel about engineering schools?
Still don't know what engineering is. None of the engineering majors have ever given me a clear definition of it
