Consider that we are on a rock floating in space. Consider that the land beneath our very feet is composed of lava ejected from the earth's core by volcanoes all around the globe. Every rock, every pile of dirt, every canyon, every mountain.

We are so incredibly fragile. One hiccup and we all die in an instant.

Lucky for us, "hicups" only come once every 100 million years or so. Pretty frequently relative to the earth, but relative to the human life span, might as well never happen.

And those Hiccups do occur quite often, in a geological timescale.

However, often in a geological time, is a really long time for us Humans. So don't worry.
