I suppose it's theoretically possible.

INB4 trans-humanists and butthurt disillusioned transhumanists at each others throats

When going transhuman, sticking to the human shape is just overly romantic.

Agreed. If I became transhuman (blah blah singularity etc) I'd want to keep my human form. Because I'm a sentimental son of a bitch.

Well yeah, if you had a choice between human and non-human and then that choice was permanent, sure most people would probably pick human+superpowers.

However if you could change bodies, I see no reason why you wouldn't just be able to switch around as you felt like it.

I mean if you could transfer your being to virtually any machine, which is sort of a given if you can create cyborgs. Why not put yourself into a minature jet plane or a helicopter on some days and just fly around.

>> No.2240637

>>2240579
I don't see how it could be permanent though. Simply (ok not simply at all but whatever) changing the hardware and configuring the outputs/inputs would mean changing bodies would be a relatively quick process

Sure some kind of method could be worked out but the mechanics of interfacing a persons brain (or just their consciousness) with a machine seems like a daunting task even for 1000 scientists or an Eisenstein level genius
