Assume I'm an adult with only the most rudimentary in science and math.

What would you recommend I do to learn? Where would I start?

Stop being so humble. /sci/ is just a bunch of high school students who think they're smarter than they really are and neckbeard faggots trying to get degrees that don't nearly pay as well as they should considering the work load.

Just read, nigga. Reeeaaaad. Anything and everything. Buy a college algebra/pre calc text book, then calc, etc. Physics, read that shit dawg. Subscribe to a popular sci magazine.

Google's your friend, it's true. The internet has a bunch of free shit you can read now. Most wikipedia articles can teach you what you would normally learn in an introduction course. You just have to try.
