If it's 24th century Federation transporters, then sure thing, I wouldn't even think twice. However if it's 22nd century Federation tech (i.e., 1st generation earth-built transporters) then no fucking way, they didn't even have an annular confinement beam to keep foreign matter from getting embedded into my body!
