Music and History belong in Mid-tier. Probably Archeology as well. Astronomy is weaksauce, but I wouldn't drop it below mid-tier. By English I assume you mean literature, bump it up to low tier.

Stats can go strait into Shit tier. Fuck stats.

>implying Biology isn't God Tier

>> No.2209211

God Tier:
people who enjoy their degree and what they're doing and make contribution in the fields.

Shit Tier:
Idiots who judge people by their degree not what they've accomplished.

e.g. Any Sociologists making remarkable finding is way over the league compared to some sci major who made no contribution to the scientific community.

I wouldn't expect otherwise from /sci/, honestly.
Stay classy, ducks.

Also, how is IT in low while CS is in mid? Fucking magnets, man.

But there is actual beauty in Ecology and Biology. It's tangible. You can't hug Potassium and Water. And you certainly can't eat The Laws of Thermodynamics

The exact reason I'm an ecology and evolution major. I love being out in the field and observing with my own eyes and holding animals and plants with my own hands. Diving near Bodega marine laboratory and collecting samples. Looking at tunicate and barnacle distribution along the coast in the wind. I spend a fair time indoors in lab, but I love being out in the field. Disciplines like physics/chemistry never appealed to me.

********************God Tier:
students driven by god related values.

Valour: Pursuit of Courage and Knowledge
Generosity: Pursuit of Giving
Diligence: Pursuit of Ethics

students driven by ungodly values.

Why these matter, I really don't fucking know. A bunch of self important college students can feel good about their major based on a chart people made on the internet? Whatever.

Dude, you realize that Astronomy is basically just physics with a space specialty, right? Shit differs from a pure physics major by like four classes, tops - at least at my school.

Somebody could grab all the bullshit majors from their college and post them. I'll start, and I'm a mathfag at the University of Washington.

Bullshit baccalaureate degrees:

American Ethnic Studies
Art History
Clinical Health Services
Communication
Community, Environment & Planning
Comparative History of Ideas
Dance: Creative Studies
Geography
Informatics
Mathematics, Bachelor of the Arts (this degree is especially shit because it can fool dumb people into thinking you're smart)
Social Welfare
Speech and Hearing Sciences
Technical Communication
Women Studies
