mkay /sci/ i got this idea.. the idea is a electromagnet that will be able to destroy a HDD but small enough to fit in a computer case. and it need to be controllable..

3 questions..

1, how can i make an electromagnet that is that small? and powerfull enough?

2. how to make it flexible?

3, win???

Wouldn't using encryption be more practical? Anyway, The design of the electromagnet is only 1/3 of the story, you still need a large current source and a way to make the field fluctuate.
