will we one day have to pay to do simple shit, like 'uploading a youtube video', and others have to 'pay to watch it' - the economy is that technical, where people have enough to spend on really petty things?

No, because the current trend shows it is moving towards everything being free with the option to pay for advanced/exclusive content.

ie: see games. Something like League of Legends, and now a lot of other games are beginning to copy this method as well.
