This is the only acceptable future for humanity.

Mans merger with technology and his ability to survive anywhere is is more important than anything else. The state well being anything.

tl:dr

Trans-human Anarchies are the only acceptable way for humans to be in the future.

There's a huge problem with this though. If evolution is true then the future of humanity isn't humans! We'll evolve, and so the atheist can't expect humans to have an sort of real history.

yeah but most people are out-going extroverts who want to drink alcohol, smoke weed and have fun. how do you convince them into becoming cold emotionless machines?

>> No.2191095

>>2191082 If evolution is true then the future of humanity isn't humans!

You really need to let go of essentialism. There isn't one point where we'll suddenly stop being human, each generation is a little different from the last. If the future humans are still able to think in similar fashion to present humans why is it a problem that they are too genetically different to breed with present day humans?

Without a population bottleneck it'll take a fuckload of time for the population to evolve that much anyway.

>> No.2191097

>>2191091how do you convince them into becoming cold emotionless machines?

You don't, you devastate the world so that everyone that isn't a cold emotionless machine dies out. Which is pretty much what happens with that ending of the game OP's pic is from.

I was using the "humans" lightly. Any sort of our descendants that sings our stories across space-time to the the farthest reaches of the void and eternity is fine too.

>> No.2191118

>>2191078
This needs to happen. Most of the problems that come with space/otherworldly travel is the fact that our bodies are just shitty and organic. If were were to become machines with several options for energy input, things would be MUCH easier.

All the oppositionists will be those people who think "being human" is somehow better than being something else, even if that something else is obviously superior in function. I don't get that. I want bionic eyes that have 30x optical zoom, fuck all the haters.

I would love to become a vacuum sucking cyborg., One day we will leave Terra as powerful trans-humans, In great Heighliners, riding mighty fonts of photo-leptonic fire, We travel so fast and so far sail around the curvature of the universe, we no longer remember where holy Terra is. As we grasp the spars of our light sailer we fell gamma rays and solar wind brace our vacuum hardened skin.

haha.

transhumanism sounds like a bunch of bs to me. what's the point clinging on to humanity when there is nothing left of it? i say transfer our legacy straight to robots with AI and send them out there. it's not like we will ever be colonizing the space as flesh and bone.

>> No.2191159

>>2191145
We keep our personalities, emotion, etc, and more importantly our curiosity. A pure machine would not have curiosity to go explore and discover. Transhumanism is very important in that aspect as we CAN go out there, we CAN explore and it's because we don't have flesh and bone but still possess some mental human characteristics.

>A pure machine would not have curiosity to go explore and discover.
i'm pretty sure if the super intelligent robot was self-aware and wanted to preverse its existence, it will eventually want to colonize other planets. besides if it is able mimic life forms, it would do as we would, spread indefinitely (like a virus).

Don't we have some sort of selection process happening in society? To some degree it overlaps with natural selection that individuals with more currency have better health in general.

wouldnt it be beautiful to survive for eternity while being the same we are now? that show control over anything, not lack of control over our actions that lead us to change our inner self!
