If you want to see pure free market in action, just look at the Industrial age. Children working, heavy pollution, poor working standards, huge income gap between rich and poor.

In fact, if it wasn't for socialists like Karl Marx that introduced programs for businesses like 2 weeks vacation, holiday pay, and safety standards, capitalism would've probably died at the Industrial revolution
