Hey /sci/, /v/ here.

Wanna play an indie game full of SCIENCE? Try One Chance

>Arrow keys to control.
>Space Bar to interact.

>Scientist John Pilgrim and his team have accidentally created a pathogen that is killing all living cells on Earth.

>In the last 6 remaining in-game days on Earth, the player must make choices about how to spend his last moments. Will he spend time with his family, work on a cure or go nuts?

>You only have ONE CHANCE to save the world. One. uno. 1. And you bastards will have to pry this game out of my cold dead hands before I put a replay feature in.

http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/555181

Play it and tell me your story.

I went into the lab.
Then I found myself sitting down unable to interact with the game with a TV showing a red X. So w/e

That's just one scene, just keep playing.

can't you play these things again by clearing your cache/cookies/tempfiles?

i hate this gimmick for flash games. shit's just silly.

>>2170685
I couldn't do anything, there was nowhere else to click and no way to interact, perhaps it was a glitch.

>> No.2170705

I went to work.
I went to the roof, co-worker jumps
I went to the lab, wife begged me to stay
I went to the roof, boss is up there.
I went to work, everyone is dead.
Come home at night, wife has killer herself
Go to work with daughter, try to find cure.
Drag myself to work, no one around, slowing down, can't focus... so tired..
Find cure!

Go to park with Daughter, no time to get cure to anyone else. Listen to silence as everything is dead.

I am sad.

Press space, the scene should move forward, if it doesn't I don't know.

Don't work. Plus, the poster above you said everyone was dead at work at a point in the game, which was where I started the game. I might have glitched it by clicking on the introduction text though.

>> No.2170764

I found the cure, but everyone died except the kid and I because they were all unrealistically fatalistic morons and offed themselves. Would have found the cure like two days earlier if they had helped me work on it, idiots. Oh well they're dead now.

I'm gonna go around doing whatever I want now.

>> No.2170783

>>2170642

I found the cure as well. But the thing is that there is no point in it, because every living cell is dead. How am I going to find something to eat?

>can't you play these things again by clearing your cache/cookies/tempfiles?
tried that, it doesnt work

Install Better Privacy add on for Firefox if you want to play again. Deletes ALL your flash data, though.

>> No.2170802

seriously what the flying fuck. i want to try again and i dont give a fuck about some room temperature IQ's moral bullshit. i fucking get it. you'd have to be an idiot not to with how the game turns out.

My brother already played on a different computer in the house, and I can start a game. Therfore he's not IP-banning. Therefore he stores identification on your local machine. Therefore it CAN be reset if you try hard enough.

My ending... found a cure, gave it to myself and went to give it to others... I brought my daughter to work with me that day, she was RIGHT THERE in the hall...

But it was too late...

Went to the park with her anyway. Last living thing on the planet, and nothing matters. I wait to die from other forces with my daughter beside me.

>> No.2170812

I'm surprised /sci/ isn't raging over how ridiculous the disease is.

Easy game is easy. Go to work, acquire cure.

>> No.2170825

>>2170805
wait, wait.

you're right. set the storage allowance to 0

>> No.2170829

You can't get the cure to anyone else, from what I've seen it's too late once you discover it, not matter what you do (even if you go to work every day).
The only thing you can do is sit like an idort with your daughter and wait for the inevitability.

Theres not even a slim chance the gene pool is large enough to allow human survival. Deleteriousness Recessive traits will almost certainly kill all your offspring.

You may get to enjoy your life as the last humans on earth however. If that was your point.

this is fucking terrible. there is nothing interesting or unique about this. it is a carbon copy of a game from a few months ago, with the 'only play once' gimmick tacked on and a terribad nonsensical 'pandemic' plot (whereas before it was just surrealist depression, 'try not to kill yourself').
