How many of you are participating in the experiment /x/ is conducting tonight?

>> No.2126035

What experiment is that, pray tell?

Given that their idea of an experiment has nothing in common with a scientific experimentation, I'm not even sure what it is that they are actually doing.

>> No.2126082

Supposedly they have "symbols" that force people to dream certain things.

They are just telling people to look at them and report their experience. It's not even approaching an Experiment.

It's also going to be plagued by conformation bias since people know what they are "supposed" to be dreaming based on it.

Why don't we run an experiment by piggybacking on their experiment?

We show people in this thread the pictures, since they never go to /x/, ask them to pick a particular picture to remember without knowing what the dream is supposed to be about, then have them report any dream they have along with the picture they chose.

If it works out with /x/'s deal we have ourselves as blind experimental group.

You can try if you want, but you'll struggle to find enough people who care. The idea that looking at certain symbols will force you to dream certain things is based on fabricated nonsense from /x/, who claim it was part of the Japanese WW2 experiments (except it wasn't).
