If Atlantis was real...

Why haven't we gathered the intelligence and technology like the people of the past?

I mean, it's not just Atlantis. It's a well known fact that people of the olden could do things that we now cannot.

Why? Because we have evolved and do not need those things anymore? Those things can be brought back.

Yes, but isn't there something in our stomachs, that let us eat things like banana peels, but is useless to us now?

It doesn't matter.

The point is, back in the day, we could do things that aren't necessary now.

Back then, we could survive in the wild easily. Now we wouldn't be able to without a weapon.

Technology made those things unnecessary. Why digest a banana peel when you could just cultivate a larger, sweeter, more nutritious banana?

Being used to something like dangerous things every second of every day ups your instincts.

Going about your day now with nothing bad ever happening lowers them.

Because increasing genetic complexity has no evidence and based on the amount of degeneration, we were most likely smarter and stronger in the past. The Egyptians built the pyramids and yet with our greatest minds today we still cant figure it out. Just like the big bang, if you backtrack the degeneration we were probably perfect in the beginning.

As times changed... we grew tired and had no need for the tools of old.

But, even if you have no need and can use something else, why just throw it away completely?
Is it just there's something always better? We evolve to bypass it?

Yeah, that's why they totally had all the stunning technological achievements and more we do toda-oh wait

>with our greatest minds today we still cant figure it out [how the Egyptians built the pyramids]

Uh, yes we can, and there have been a number of texts on the subject.

Oh, and it may shock you to find out, but the pyramids served no real purpose other than to be a tomb. There is nothing mystical about them. Massive amounts of manpower to build a tomb. Sure was smart.

Weren't there the first batteries that we had found? Now tell me. What does a person in the olden days of no electricity need an artificial battery for? What technology did they have?

Yes, because a monotone cave painting of a guy in a full body suit with space for the eyes to be seen is a space suit, right? Please, something reputable. If you have anything with any fucking backing beyond complete speculation, be sure to let me know.

They weren't super advanced in ancient times. We have found the ruins. They're made of fucking stone and primitive building materials. If they were capable of shit like you're claiming, they would have some fucking synthetics.
