Why haven't we gathered the intelligence and technology like the people of the past?

I mean, it's not just Atlantis. It's a well known fact that people of the olden could do things that we now cannot.

Why? Because we have evolved and do not need those things anymore? Those things can be brought back.

Because increasing genetic complexity has no evidence and based on the amount of degeneration, we were most likely smarter and stronger in the past. The Egyptians built the pyramids and yet with our greatest minds today we still cant figure it out. Just like the big bang, if you backtrack the degeneration we were probably perfect in the beginning.

Oh, and it may shock you to find out, but the pyramids served no real purpose other than to be a tomb. There is nothing mystical about them. Massive amounts of manpower to build a tomb. Sure was smart.
