hi /sci/entists, i'm looking for some career related orientation

I'm a very smart guy and I do very good in every class, I'd love to study mathematics, physics, chemistry, some engineerings, and others. but my love goes for medicine (Even though I hate I won't have math class anymore).

And I just considered studying medicine in the US since I live in northern Mexico like 300 miles south of El Paso.

So the question is, what universities you reccommend for studying medicine in the US? Or should I stay in Mexico and study here? (the medicine school in Mexico is in average better than most in the US)

Probably I'll be in Las Cruces, NM for some time and maybe I'd transfer to a better school.

Santa Fe is only four hours from Las Cruces

The soul-eating liberal arts philosophy super mega college is there.

and then you can go to graduate school

Im in El Paso,

You can always apply to Texas Tech medical school in El Paso. Or Baylor. Baylor has a good med program.

or University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is pretty good.

Why would you study medicine in the US, when here in Mexico you can become a physician after just 6 years of studying, including internship and social service, and in the US you have to study a Bachelor´s Degree AND then go to Medical School?
