1800 == 349

x == 33

How the shit do I find x?

Picture unrelated

x=33

Obviously

But 1800 doesn't equal 349.

Search your feelings.

I'm trying to dimension an unknown in a picture from an approximate height of something else in the pic.

1800mm is around 349 pixels
x = 33 pixels

I want x in mm

~170mm

Could be something related to modulo I guess.
Like in mod12, 6 = 18.
However, wolfram is annoyed.

1800/x = 349/33

x = 1800*33/349

>> No.2086693

>>2086657
349/33 = 10.575757...
This is the factor by which the amount of pixels has been reduced, so the mm will reduced by the same factor.
1800/10.575757 = ~170mm
Like above poster said.

I'm not prepared to do it without my formula sheets directly here in front of me. I'm not going to guess at anything.
