Tell me about classes or exams you've taken with ridiculously low averages

"Thermal Physics and Statical Mechanics" the c+ grade is a 30%...

Apparently the pass rate for aglortihmics 320 used to be 40%. Unfortunately, they changed the course this year, so I was in for lamesville.

But yeah. Maths papers occasionally have averages below 50%. Which is why it's one of the few disciplines I still have faith in.

Special Topics in QCD is a special elective course offered this semester to test the waters for future course offerings.

So far this semester, I believe the highest average in my class is a 23/100.

Not /sci/ related, but:

4th Semester Japanese final exam. The teacher was a cruel old-country Japanese woman who insisted that sheer willpower will allow anybody to overcome any obstacle. The test was worth 50% of the grade. I was one of five of the 25 people in that class who passed. I'm amazed she still works there.

SO YOU'RE SAYING THAT THE AVERAGE GRADE OF THE TESTS IS THE YARDSTICK USED TO DECIDE WHETER A STUDENT PASSES OR FAILS?

I'D SAY THAT'S RETARDED. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN ALL THE STUDENTS HAND OUT A BLANK PAPER? DO THEY ALL PASS WITH A B-?
