The problem is is that while Moses was a profit, he had already fallen from grace before reaching Israel. Since he wrote both the book of Exodus and Deuteronomy, neither of them can be said to represent the will of God. They are present in the modern day bible merely to provide historical background.

OP, I've already addressed all the others. Read Matthew 5 in full. Jesus declared that the laws of the prophets are to be fulfilled through Him, and pretty much demolishes the suggestion to follow the OT literally. Then, throughout His life, He pretty much goes on to overturn every way the laws had been practiced. The only laws God ever gave to His people were the Ten Commandments; the rest was all just interpretation of law based upon them.
