i know this isnt /r/ but im hoping you guys might know what video im talking about
i vaguely remember it being posted on /b/ it was a guy giving a speach at a podium the video lasts about an hour to an hour and a half its about the universe its shape and weather or not it is expanding, explains the absolute mass of the universe equates to 0
i think the very beginning it was richard dawkins giving the introduction before the speach began

what that 'philosophy' video?
a universe from nothing
while the flat shit might be true, that guy has no fucking idea what hes talking about when he says a flat universe proves theres no god, or that a shaped universe proves there is.

Lawrence Krauss, one of several physicists whose work Hawking is tacitly taking credit for with his new book. I'm surprised Kaku hasn't jumped on the bandwagon yet.

No, it was a science video.

I don't recall him saying anything like this, just that the net energy of the universe works out to zero, and there's a plausible causal mechanism for the big bang which allows it to be spontaneous, meaning a self causing universe is consistent with physical law.

You can keep believing in magic, nobody's gonna take it from you.

thankyou /sci/
is there any basic reading you would recommend to someone who finds this interesting but also keeping in mind im only year 12 graduate so a basic build up would be the best for me

The best books on this topic are by Victor Stenger, not Krauss. Stenger just doesn't lecture as much as he doesn't share Krauss' taste for the spotlight.

LOL @ the picture. you can see deep inside he is rootless.

Really the only thing you guys are doing is lowering yourself to an 11 dimensional entity/zombie.
You are all pieces of shit who are using your gifted being in the wrong manner.

Seriously go do something more useful or just kill yourselves. Thanks for listening.

Read them all. You'll miss out on stuff if you're lazy.
