when i was in high school, homework counted for like 75% of the final grade or something ridiculous. exams didn't matter at all, so most people graduated from my school with >3.5/4.0 GPA (unweighted of course)

which sucked for me because i couldn't be bothered to do most of the work and ended up with a pretty shit GPA. oh well, nobody cares now
