Everything in nature has cycles.

So this is how I came to my theory, that the big bang itsself is just a part of a cycle.

Gravity is the force of matter attracting other matter. So what if the big bang came to originate because all the matter in the universe became so dense because of gravity, and then it exploded.

Now this explosion is known as the big bang. But the explosion following the denseness of all matter is so great it will expand our universe for millions of years. But when this force gradually becomes less all matter will inevitably attract to each other again, so the cycle continuous until an new big bang is created.

Lemme know what you think /sci/

Big crunch only says it will collapse but does not mention cycle.

Everything associated with engineering is gay.

So this is how I came to my theory, that the big bang itsself is just gay.

Dude... Do you know the big crunch theory.
It mentions that every matter will turn into a unified black hole or Big Crunch singularity....

So a cycle...

hi

erm, you can measure red shift from far away stars, this indicates that they are travelling away from us. if the rate of red shift slows down, it implies that the universe is slowing its rate of expansion (after the big bang) and will eventually stop, and begin contracting, resulting in a 'big crunch' where the enture universe is pulled into a singularity again (like there was at the start of the big bang)
however ,we don't see this. by measuring the red shift, we see that the expansion is actually accelerating, which implies the universe will keep expanding forever, and will eventually result in heat death or 'the big freeze' as the temperature assymptotically approaches absolute zero.

That doesn't necessarily mean the universe's expansion is accelerating. It could mean time is locally slowing down relative to the rest of the universe.

But if we knew the universe was very small (at the beginning of the big bang) how could such a small amount of matter become so big... justdontgetit

very large amount of matter (infinitely big?) just in a very small amount of space.

I heard a pre-big bang theory that the big bang was an effect created by an area of low entropy in a "black hole sea". the area low entropy created the observable universe, and allowed for normal energy reactions like vaccuum perturbations to occur at every point in space, and I think that violations of cp-symmetry would allow for matter to overcome anti-matter. this theory is a little too wierd for me to actually believe in but it makes a little more sense than like....m-brane collisions

anyways I dunno what OP is getting at but here's some more pre big bang theories http://universe-review.ca/F02-cosmicbg.htm#prebigbang
