God dammit, why are scientists deliberately creating mutants with radiation and gene - splicing? Fuck making more efficient crops or medicines; I WANT FUCKING LASER EYES or eight legged kids.

This sort of thing shouldn't be accidental; it should be THE NORM.

You don't see my point; couldn't we just modify genes in the embryonic stage; or adjust the copying process to make BETTER humans?

We should be on the frontier of mutation and genetically modified science; and all we're doing is making better corn and patenting seeds so fucking dirt farmers in india and africa can't afford food.

oh my god I scrolled past this, said "WHAT!?" and scrolled back up. I totally did a double-take, hollywood style.

these deformities make me so sad. I mean, look... it was trying so, so hard to get it right... it got the ears right, it got the hair right, it almost got the eyeball right and that's hard! I'm sure it had identifiable limbs and even had mostly formed organs. It just... didn't do it right. It tried.

It's like seeing those little anacephalic kids. Their bodies are always beautifully formed, 100% correct... functioning heart, lungs, all that, it just... failed to close it's brain cap and nothing beyond it's cerebellum formed :(
