Let me give you can example: The whole Horus-Jesus comparison doesn't make any sense at all. The so called "shared attributes" are taken from a very unreliable source. Most of their references are totally untrustworthy, essentially making their arguments invalid. People who have some sort of distrust towards authorities are easily convinced by their arguments, just because someone seems to share their vision. Yes you should not trust just anything authorities say, but please, be extra critical towards your own beliefs.
