I'm a physics graduate student at MIT. On my free time I browse two boards: /fit/ and /sci/. In my opinion, to be at your best mentally, you need to be at your best physically. We are chemical machines who are slaves to our physical health. Some of my largest steps in writing my dissertation were during cardio sessions while my brain was getting massive amounts of oxygenated hemoglobin.

Same-fag, I'm not huge at all. 5'10" 175, with a very low percent body-fat. By fitness I meant a combination of things: having lean muscle mass as opposed to fat, strong heart, and good diet. The men depicted in these pictures are excessively large, and most of their strength is in fact useless unless they're agile and dexterous. I think it's better to have a medium amount of muscle mass with a body cut down to just muscle and flesh.
