Alright /sci/, I have a question that I hope you can answer. Does anyone happen to know for how long a bear can maintain it's running speed. I've searched google and all of the answers they give relate to how fast a bear can run. Picture unrelated.

Let's say I'm hiking in the woods when all of a sudden a bear jumps out at me. My trusty desert eagle gets dropped and the bears coming at me. My only choice is to run as I am not bearmode and could not wrestle it to death. That is the reason I'd like to know this information but no one seems to have it.
