Hey guys, I have to write a 4000 word paper on any topic in physics for the IB program. Been researching for a while but I'm a little lost.

Could anyone help me think of a research question I could answer experimentally and be in the range of 3000-4000 words?

Main topics we've covered are Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Waves, and Thermodynamics + some others but these are pretty much the only ones I could design an experiment for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Didn't your advisor tell you to be a good boy and choose English for your EE like everyone else? Tsk tsk.

Just an hero if you need other peoples help with your assignments please. If by some miracle you do get your degree, when you get a job you will just look for help from everyone else. People like you should be working in Mcdonalds where there is nothing you can fuck up.

How about some sort of small scale rollercoaster

Yeah of course but I figure I'd rather get a C writing about something I'm interested in than getting a B or A doing something I hate.

Thanks :)

Eh, I was just kidding around. I wrote a last-day-all-nighter math EE. Got me a D but screw it, bonus points are for faggots.

As for physics I think an acceptable experiment would be something similar to an IB lab but with two independent variables. Preferably something you can relate to the "Real world" with copious amount of bullshit.

Noted, and also thanks for not being a douchebag like that other guy.

International Baccalaureate, its a high school diploma program and I'm in my senior year (not underage though). I take physics at higher level which people say is the equivalent of first year at uni, that could just be bullshit though.

Nope, just about right. I did HL physics and uni is all review so far at a comparable level of difficulty.

Math, on the other had, is utter regression. Mfw when my midterm is 10 times easier than my HL math tests.

Ah okay that's good to hear. I take HL Maths now and it's a complete crock of shit, gonna need the break.
