Sup /sci/, so I have a presentation that needs to be done for a speech class.

I have to pick a topic and I want to do something that is interesting and very educational.

I want to pick something science related that will still be interesting enough to keep the attention of all these psych/finance majors.

Any ideas?

I was thinking something a bit more interesting

It has to be an informal speech and last about 6minutes. I don't think I would have enough to say about that.

Well, you could spend two minutes on Chernobyl, three on thermodynamics, and use the last minute for questions. Bring snacks in case there aren't enough questions to fill a whole minute.

Do one on the Universe. I'm sure there is enough material to make a decent presentation.

Please, that place is mostly empty space!

Maybe I could do it on stuff like hyper novas and gamma ray burst.
