ITT stories of mathematical practices that made you cringe.

A grad student at my local University apparenly held some grudge against the natural logarithm, as instead of writing say "ln(x)", he'd write something like "a*log10(x)", where a=1/log10(e).

Shit caused me fucking physical pain.
