A bus which has a velocity of 110 km/h has a velocity in m/s of ?

What formula do I use?

>> No.1877646

Hint:
km = 1000 m
h = 3600 s

>> No.1877662

(110km / 1hr)*(1000m / 1km)*(1 hr / 3600s) = X m/s

i get 30.5556 m/s

what about you OP?

>> No.1877675

i got 49.233 m/s

>> No.1877685

multiply that by 3600. this is how many meters you will travel at that speed in one hours. Now divide that by 1000 to get the number of kilometers. You will find that you have an answer that is much too large.

>(1000m / 1km)

mfw 1000m = 1km so the answer is 1 which is the same as not figuring that out in the first place
